The purpose of this hearing is to provide the citizens of Sauk County an explanation of the Community Development Block Grant for Economic Development (CDBG-ED) program, program goals, and the application process along with a discussion of the economic development needs of Sauk County and to receive citizen input relating to the potential application:
For up to $30,000 in CDBG-ED funds to be loaned to Gerald Keller and Wendy K. Keller. The funds will be utilized by Gerald Keller and Wendy K. Keller to expand and modernize a dairy farm; and create one (1) new full time position. For up to $70,000 in CDBG-ED funds to be loaned to Haag's Family Dairy, LLC, Reedsburg. The funds will be utilized by Haag's Family Dairy. LLC to expand and modernize a dairy farm; retain two (2) full time positions and create two (2) new positions.
There will be a special meeting of the Finance Committee at 5:50 p.m., in the Gallery of the County Board Room, (room #326A), to 1.) Consider approval of County vouchers, and 2.) Approval of Supervisory per Diems.
