Recording Fees go to $25

Effective January 1, 2012, the fee to record documents in Sauk County will be $25 per document.  As part of Wisconsin Act 314, counties were allowed to collect an additional $5 for redaction of SSNs, making the fee $30.  In Sauk County, funds to accomplish this initiative are in place.  As such, Sauk County has joined Washington County and Burnett County as the only counties to revert back to the $25 fee.
