Camping is available at White Mound County Park with a total of 59 sites, 38 of which have electrical hookups. Recently installed showers are available for a small fee. Walk-in group campsites are available for tents.
Important Fire Wood Note
Due to the threat of moving the Emerald Ash Borer, firewood will no longer be allowed to be brought into the campground at White Mound Park. The only exception would be if it was made from trees cut within a fifty mile radius of White Mound Park. No construction material is to be burned as firewood. Firewood is available at the park at a cost of $4.00/armload. Please do not bring firewood into the campground at White Mound Park. Thank you.

White Mound Camping General Rules

Quiet hours begin at 10:00pm.

No vehicular traffic after 10:00pm.

Register at office before setting up unit. If office is closed, self-registration is in effect.

No drunken, noisy, disorderly or publicly offensive person shall be allowed to remain in the park.

Camper is responsible for guests at their site and any infraction thereof may be grounds for revocation of camping permit.

Pets must be under the owners control at all times with a 6-foot or less leash.

Pets are not allowed in the beach area or in the water.

Horses must be restrained at all times.

Cutting, breaking or defacing plantings, natural features, buildings or other property is strictly forbidden.

No person shall in any manner disturb, harass or interfere with any person or party within the park.

Campsites are considered occupied only when the fee has been paid, registration completed and placed in depository.

No person shall interfere with or hinder in any manner, any employee of the parks department while in the discharge of his or her duties.

Campfires must be out upon retiring or leaving the park.

It shall be unlawful to start, tend or maintain any fire or burn any refuse except in designated fireplaces.

Recreational all-terrain vehicles are not allowed on any trails within the park. Please see office for clarification.

No refunds can be given on camping receipts.

Firewood is available at the office for an additional fee.

No camping party shall move from its assigned campsite to another campsite without prior approval.

It shall be unlawful to park any motor vehicle outside the parking areas designated at each campsite and not more than 2 motor vehicles are permitted at any campsite.

Camping permits shall be posted in designated places.

Violation of any State law or any rules of the Park Committee by a member of a camping party is cause for revocation of camping permit.
