While some of the information on this site is about legal issues or forms, it is not legal advice. Moreover, due to the rapidly changing nature of the law and our reliance on information provided by outside sources, we make no warranty or guarantee concerning the accuracy or reliability of the content at this site or to the other sites to which we link.
Mission Statement: To record documents in a timely manner while complying with Wisconsin State Statutes. This office also serves the public by issuing copies of all real estate, vital records, military discharges and UCC filings. Citizens look to this office for assistance solving problems and answering questions that may arise.

Viewing Recording Information
- There is no charge to view recording information from 1987 to the present.
Fees for viewing images are as follows:
- Unlimited access - $200 per month
- Escrow account - the statutory fee of $2 for the first page and $1 for each additional page

- Effective July 1, 2009 - All Deeds received on or before July 1 must be accompanied with and eRTR receipt. No paper transfer returns (Green/White Form) will be accepted: Electronic Real Estate Transfer Return (eRETR)

Copies of Documents
- $2.00 first page,
$1.00 each additional page;
$1.00 for certifying a copy - Plat copies are $6.00 first page,
$3.00 each additional page - Condo Plat copies are $4.00 first page,
$2.00 each additional page

The Register of Deeds office does not provide services for Real Estate searches.
The Register of Deeds office cannot accept Credit Cards for payment.
