Comprehensive Planning Steering Committee. In the fall of 2002, 21 municipalities in Sauk County applied for the 2003 Comprehensive Planning Grant through the Wisconsin Department of Administration. In January 2003, these municipalities were successful and secured a Comprehensive Planning Grant in the amount of $288,000. In addition to the base grant funding, municipalities will provide $134,000 in local matches along with $58,000 of in-kind GIS mapping assistance provided by the Sauk County Planning & Zoning Department. The Planning and Zoning Department also provided assistance in the consultant selection process, grant administration and coordination between the contracted consultants and each municipality. The coordination includes but is not limited to, payment coordination, periodic performance evaluation of the consultant throughout the planning process, and review and approval of each planning processes scope of work to ensure both the presence of adequate public participation efforts as well as adequate development of the nine elements and 14 goals of the Comprehensive Plan described in §66.1001 Wisconsin Statutes. 2020 Synopsis: Excel file format Local Plans: Excel file format, HTML file format County Plans: Excel file format, HTML file format Relevant Plans : PDF file format, HTML file format Sauk County Public Participation Plan Document
