Children with Special Health Care Needs

Sauk County provides home visits to families of children with special needs due to physical, developmental or emotional problems. The public health nurse will assess each individual child's unique health care needs and provide referrals for appropriate intervention services. The public health nurse will also provide support for parenting, give information on community resources, and perform a home safety assessment.
