Hunting and Fishing Information

White Mound County Park offers public hunting in the eastern area. Hunters often come in search of turkeys, grouse and white-tailed deer. The park is managed for grouse habitat in its aspen regeneration efforts.

Camping is offered in most hunting seasons with weather permitting.

The park also offers wonderful bass and bluegill fishing. White Mound Park is 104 acres with a maximum depth of about 27 ft. and is fed by 3 streams and several springs. It can be fished anywhere along the shore by a trail that circumvents the whole lake.  A boat landing also provides access to the lake but only electric motors are allowed.  Ice fishing at the lake is excellent, also.
