This 1906 photo shows the Lange & Knauss store, built in 1904, at the corner of Maple & Walnut Street's. The partners sold dry goods and groceries. Hardware store on left, and E.J. Lawton dentist office upstairs, right.

This 1904 photo shows the old Lange & Knauss Store on the corner of Maple & Walnut Streets. It was replaced by a new brick structure that year. The store's delivery wagon and team can be seen in the background. Also, note the new cement sidewalk and electric power poles which have yet to be strung with wires.
