Anyone with information on these crimes or any other crime is encouraged to call the Sauk County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-TIP-SAUK (847-7285). Callers may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 and can remain anonymous.
The Sauk County Sheriff's Department wishes to remind citizens that safety locks for guns, both handguns and long guns, are available at the Law Enforcement Center during regular business hours. The locks are FREE, and all gun owners are encouraged to safeguard themselves and others, especially children, by putting the tamper-proof locks on guns when they aren't in use.
ARRESTS:
On December 17, 2009, Desmond R. McKnight, age 30, of Baraboo, Wisconsin, was arrested for two counts of theft, for incidents that occurred on November 24, 2009, and December 6, 2009, when he stole tip money while working at the Ho-Chunk Casino.
On December 17, 2009, Robert H. Graeber, age 75, of Lone Rock, Wisconsin, was arrested on a probation hold.
On December 18, 2009, Corbin C. Davis, age 18, of Sauk City, Wisconsin, was arrested for Retail Theft, for an incident that occurred at the West Baraboo Sears Grand store.
On December 18, 2009, Mandy M. Stoehr, age 28, of North Freedom, Wisconsin, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct/Domestic Abuse.
On December 18, 2009, Kurtis M. Spink, age 23, of Reedsburg, Wisconsin, was arrested on a warrant.
