About County Clerk

Mission Statement:

To perform services for the public including conducting elections and issuing of certain licenses. The County Clerk also serves the County Board by assuring completion of necessary clerical functions. Other services may be provided by the County Clerk as required by law or mutual agreement.

Summary of Activities:

Official County Board minutes and proceedings; County directory; marriage license issuance; declaration of domestic partnership issuance; election results & Statewide Voter Registration System (SVRS) administration; public notice of County meetings; rezoning petitions; Farmland Preservation petitions; timber permits; DNR hunting & fishing license sales & regulations; County park sticker; dog license records; tax deeded property list.
