So many ideas and things waiting to be discovered and tried, so much to experience and so little time. The poet Yeats said, “The only journey worth taking, is the journey within”. I believe that art is a journey that begins within. With a little courage and belief in oneself it is a path worth taking and the rewards are many.

Art forms and media fascinate me. Currently I am focusing on mixed media in 2-D and in sculptural form of which, two of my works, Flying Goddess (sculpture) and Letters from the Earth (2-D mixed media) were chosen as part of the “2009 SCAA Encore Art!” touring exhibit. I am most known for custom designed teddy bears from found fabrics and garments creating them for over 25 years. I offer a line of photographic greeting cards with the hand made bears and many other subjects. Some cards make one laugh out loud and some make one pause to reflect the simple pleasures. “May the simple pleasures in life always be within reach” is my mantra.
