Diana Haertel

Diana was born in Milwaukee; she came to Baraboo in 1985 and never looked back. She states, “This area is so beautiful and continues to inspire me.”

Her work has appeared in many forms, i.e. watercolor and oil paintings, wall murals, lamp shades, signs and banners.

Diana finds her inspiration through nature. She says that she feels the need to connect to the land and that also helps her connect to others.
