Nutrition and Dining Centers

Dining Centers

Your community’s dining center holds regular activities and hosts guest speakers to help you stay healthy and “plugged in” to your community.  Also a great opportunity to socialize and stay independent.  Please make your reservations for your lunch 24 hours in advance of your meal.

Call to make your reservations today!

Home-delivered meals are also provided to the homebound.  If you are interested in home-delivered meals, you need only call the Aging & Disability Resource Center office at (608) 355-3289 or (800) 482-3710 to inquire about service in your area.  Your medical provider may also make a referral for this service if you have been hospitalized or have been ill.

Home Delivered Meals

If you are homebound, were hospitalized, or have an illness, and would like a referral for home-delivered meals, call the Aging & Disability Resource Center. Your medical provider may also make a referral for home-delivered meals as well.

The Home delivered meals delivery system is as follows: depending on where you live you will receive either a hot home-delivered meal each day or a hot meal along with several frozen meals multiple times a week. A volunteer will arrive at your home between noon and 1:00 p.m. with your lunch. Lunch includes 1/3 of the recommended dietary allowances (RDA's).

The menu is printed in the Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) AddLIFE Today! and in the local newspapers.

Cafe' Connections

Sauk-Prairie has been chosen as a pilot location for Cafe' Connections, the statewide modernization of Dining Centers.  Cafe' Connections is a cafe'/bistro atmosphere with extended hours, snacks and light menu items, and great programming!  Adults may make a reservation for the daily special (lunch), but walk-ins are welcome.
